Always on the lookout for solutions that fit our target client size (companies of 1-500 employees), I was intrigued to read that Google was getting deeper into the eCommerce arena.

YES! My Google Wave invitation finally arrived today.  Actually, it arrived on Monday, but my Yahoo! Mail account threw it in the spam folder (hmmm, wonder if there is a reason for that?).

So I thought I would take you through the journey of Google Wave discovery with me.

I always enjoy finding examples of bad web design to demonstrate the need for good design practices.

Check out the website for the Droid phone from Verizon.  Imagine that this is your website…then imagine your customers frustration trying to figure out where to go once they get past the annoying “skip intro” page.

And for the biggest nightmare, imagine you want to add a new link to the menu.

This site is acceptable for a product launch that is marketed by various other means and is meant for entertainment purposes only.  It is cool from a graphic standpoint.  But if a serious customer had to deal with finding something in this site…dare I say, they probably would give up using it.

Last week Twitter released one of their first innovations in a long time…Twitter Lists.

While the SEO and Social Media community wrestles over this new innovation, we have had a few brainstorms of our own.  One of the most compelling is to promote your customers and vendors.

As a web designer and Internet marketing agency, it is in our and our customer’s best interest to promote our relationship and the successes we achieve.  In addition, creating a referral network of trusted and recommended vendors is advantageous to all involved.

Twitter Lists allow you to create special categories of tweets and tweeters that are defined as their own individual URL’s.  For example:
