IT IS OFFICIAL!

The rebranded Hannush Web is now online.

The first thing you’ll notice is our new logo.  A variation on the previous logo, this one establishes a bolder presence.  This is to coincide with our evolution into a bolder arena of web programming and development.

The next thing you’ll notice is a more simplistic design.  Gone are the long drawn out explanations of our services. We believe the best way to understand if our services are right for our potential customers is for them to talk with us about their projects and to see and experience our portfolio of work.

In addition, the black color of our site helps our designs pop more on the pages of our portfolio.  It is that work, after all, that is the important part of a web design company’s web site.

Over the last eight years we have moved from developing simply designed, easy-to-navigate websites to greatly enhanced customized projects.  And while we continue to grow our talents and focus in the world of programming, search engine marketing, and social media, we still hold on to our tradition of creating attractive, simple to use websites.

We look forward to introducing our new look over the next few months and engaging new customers with our same level of professional, timely customer service and communication.  We hope you enjoy the new website and we would love to have your feedback.

Sincerely,
Drew Hannush and the Hannush team.

How to Stop Hackers and Server Downtime

Ever stop to wonder how much a lead is worth? Go to a sales seminar, pass out business cards, really convince someone.  Then they go to your website and…”Page Not Found” or worse yet your site has a whole new look and a happy gloating message in red on black from a not so friendly hacker from Turkey, the Ukraine or some kid at a community college?

What will your sales lead think of your business?  Do you think they’d take the time to call you to let you know?  Do you think they’d care?  Or worse yet, will you be so excited to get the call from a sure lead and they only call to say what’s wrong with your website?

Egg on face.

You need to get a website monitor.  A good monitor will not only test your server but it will make sure your pages are showing the content they are supposed to.  Most of them are fairly affordable.  Check out http://www.monitornation.com …it tests the page content, the server and sends either an email or a text message to you when your site goes down.  It will even let you set it to send a message to your hosting company.

Then you can be on top of site down issues and make sure you don’t lose that valuable lead.

Over the last couple of months, I have been developing plans to improve our communications and benefit our clients and prospective clients through the constructive use of our social media tools.

Look for these changes to take shape over the next 2-3 months.

Our first major change is to add a Website Maintenance Tips category to our blog.  This will help current clients and prospective clients stay abreast of critical and non-critical software updates.  In addition, we will share non-technical client directed thought pieces and trends for a better website ownership experience and increased ROI.

We hope clients will subscribe to the RSS Feed and/or subscribe to either our Facebook or Twitter pages to receive these updates.
